This battery will not fit traxxas stampede 4x4 vxl. I bought it for my traxxas stampede because in the description it says it will fit in traxxas stampeded. I had to pay hobby king to ship it to me than I had to pay for shipping again to send it back to hobby king. I did get my refund back minus the shipping both ways

Battery arrived dead. Rather than telling me my son decided he'd fix it and found the connection between the 2nd and last cell was faulty (it hadn't crimped properly). So we had to scuff the tabs and solder them. The battery lasted 4 charges and one of the cells wont charge even though the internal connections are OK now.
Waste of money!

After first and second charge, endcharge voltage 4,19 , 4,18, 4,19.(normal is 4,20v)

I am realy unhappy with this batery. I have another Zippy Traxxas 2s Lipo 12800mah that after 20 charges and 3 months has 4,19 and 4,20v(when new 4,2 with4,2v). I guess this 3s Batery will have a shorter life. The warranty does not cover this defekt. I am unhappy with the zippy bateries, next i will try the Turnigy nano-techs.

Balancing the wire, with basic insulation (very hard, silicone is not as usual), after a dozen charge / discharge, come off in soldering, solder very hard and not comfortable

These batteries do NOT fit the Stampede 4x4 VXL as stated in the description they are too long the maximum size pack you can fit is 135mm long, I ordered the batteries at the same time as the truck so I trusted the description slightly disappointed thankfully I can use them in other models.

I purchased this battery for my Traxxas Slash VXL 2WD last week and it took about a week and a half to come (im located in the US and it shipped from Singapore). I was getting antsy when it finally arrived. I opened it up and checked it on my EOS Sentry device and it came at 49pcnt battery remaining. I began charging the other lipo I purchased (A turnigy 5800 mah 3-Cell 5800 mah 30C) and threw this one strait in the car after turning on low voltage detection. I went out into the street and immidatly popped a wheelie and took off. I purchased a wheelie bar and installed it and had better luck and was extreemly pleased. It is absolutly insane and almost on the verge of out of controll. I love this battery and definetly would recomend it for any traxxas vehicle that is equipped with a brushless system.
