    The Quanum DC Field Charger charger allows you to quickly and easily charge your Phantom 2 batteries at the field from just about any 10~26VDC power source! This means easy battery charging from your car or truck's starter battery!

    Simply connect the alligator clips to your vehicle's starter battery and the output lead to the Phantom 2 battery. The output lead features a polarity-protected plug which prevents improper connection. This charger provides up to 4A of current, matching that of the original DJI Phantom 2 battery charger.

    These are basically a buck/Boost power converter in an excellent aluminum heat sink case; they even have an access hole to tweak the output voltage. Change the output connector to match your battery, and you have a fully automatic 4A 3S battery charger.

    Although designed for use with the DJI Drone, this using is great for reducing the voltage from a 4S LIPO battery (16.5v) down to 13.5V as needed by many electrical devices, such as low power ham radios or receivers. The build quality of the unit is very good and at the bargain-bin reduced price, this is well worth buying.

    A pretty good generic buck converter in a nice metal case

    It's a generic buck converter with current & voltage control via trimpots on the board inside. Pretty well made; good heatsinking and cabling, nice aluminum box. Would be reasonably waterproof if you seal the two small holes for the led and trimpot; won't affect cooling. Room inside for another small PCB. For hacking, it's great

    Anybody who owns a Phantom 2 should get this charger. Great for charging while out and about. You will need to wire up a cigarette lighter plug if you want to charge while driving.
