Product container:

Product is contained in a kind of twin syringe with mechanically coupled plunges what should ensure application of equal amounts of resin and hardener (curing agent) what is an easy-to-handle concept. The syringe comes with a mechanically coded cap to prevent re-capping in the wrong direction (would result in glue-locked cap) - clever detail. (*****)



Mechanics:

Application of resin and hardener on a cardboard before compounding doesn't work as flawless as expected, though:

Both components of the epoxy resin system are of different viscosity(***), so especially at temperatures below 17C careless pressing the twin plunges consequences in inadequate mixing volumes of resin and hardener. With some routine, effort and enough patience one can trick the plunge coupling in order to apply equal volumes - what cannot really be in the strict sense of the twin-syringes' inventor ... (*)



Chemistry:

Like almost every epoxy-based resin glueing system, HK's product is quite dependent from adequate temperatures.

For model builders, one would expect a system (especially worldwide distributed ones) what can easily be used as specified (~30min. pot life) at temperatures between 12C (cellar hobbyists) and 30C (living room hobbyists in summer). Not

Great packaging, nice when small amounts have to be prepared!
As other users found out as well, setting time can be way over 30min. Allthough heating my shed, it's about 12degrees celcius/54 Fahrenheit, maybe with higher temperatures it sets faster.
After hardening it turns really hard, unsupported thick layers might break, for the purposes I use it, it works great!

Cola de excelente qualidade! Boa embalagem e facil de usar. Muito resistente e apresenta otimo acabamento. Fica com um belo aspecto cristalino apos a cura, alem de no ficar pegajosa como a nossa araldite (que e de pessima qualidade!). Altamente recomendada!

Good quality thick strong epoxy glue, cheap, useful container (ez use/storage too) but need more than 24 hrs. for full bonding.
