bought 2, 1 came unbalance, 4.01v and 3.88v when received. will monitor the quality and life span.

2 pack's did nicely arrive all cells equall at 3.88v.

The wire is very thick 8AWG, I can't fit it into 4mm connectors.



There is one problem with this pack, I can't fit it into my associated b4.1 1:10 buggy. This pack is slightly wider and slightly longer than standard hardcase car battery, so few mm to large, so for my buggy application they are useless. therefore 1 crown missing.



I always doubt B grade story, how can a B grade battery be 40C?

I could imagine a 40C battery with a production quality issue QC failure, could be sold and rebadged as a B grade 10C, instead of throwing away.

I think is just sale strategy to avoid people purchasing from ebay.

I bought 2 of these about 6 months ago, just for bashing my Emaxx. Had to slightly modify the battery trays to get them to fit (easy). Both batteries have great punch out of the hole at 40c rating and run my heavy Maxx for 13-15 mins of hard driving. One battery always balances perfectly, but the other has one cell that will never charge above 3.9v. I haven't noticed that it affects performance while playing around the backyard, it just doesn't balance. No signs of any puffing at all so far. If you race, you may want the extra edge from A grade batteries but for me, I say great batteries for bashing for the money.

Very good battery discharge power enormous. I use it in series with the same 3S for make a 5s pack on my Mugen MRX4.

Hi All,

I received this Battery 2 days ago. First impression is fair, rock hard cells, no signs of initial puffing. Tim will tell, how long will they last. I'm going to use one if this in my 1/10 Serpent 720 Electric conversion, and 2 wired straight to 4S1P into my BL savage and BL 1/8 Buggy, oncs I can acquire my 160Amps ESC. For first charge, one pack was ok(ordered 2) butr the second pack was 1.823.70, which was low enough for making it unable to charge with LiPo mode. I had to give it some juice whith NiMh mode, than switched to balanced LiPo mode. Stay tuned for more results. Overall a fairly good battery for a good price.

I'm using these in my Traxxas Stampede Monster Jam Gravedigger, Monster Mut and Max-D and they are GREAT. You must use a battery expantion kit available from Traxxas #TRAC3728 and a deans/traxxas adapter plug or just change over to deans on the traxxas speed control. I put Traxxas plugs on batteries but the larger guage wire on these packs made it difficult. The Traxxas XL-5 speed control has LiPo setting so you can't over discharge and it's only pulling about 20C when you punch the throttle so these 40C batteries are not even breathing hard.
