Before I start any scratch build model, I usually draw up a rough plan in CAD or computer-aided design as it helps with making the build a little bit easier.

In case you missed the news, HobbyKing has announced the release of the highly anticipated Avios C-130.

In the last article, we looked at the basics and covered the learning process at a very high level. Last Christmas, my family were kind enough to gift me an Anet A8 3D printer.

The Anet A8 comes flat packed in a large box and has to be assembled at home by yourself. It comes with all the tools and instruction CD, but you need lots of patience as the build can be tricky. (The hardest part though is understanding the instructions).
