    This compact brushless motor has been designed with sub-250 sized drones in mind and is an ideal balance of quality, performance and price.
    Lightweight, strong and compact, the motor is ideally suited to 5~6" props, 1~2 cell Lipo batteries and with a maximum current of just 8A can take advantage of smaller esc's for super-light installations.

    Installed in a FT hand chuck glider converted to RC & electric power. AUW 150 grams. This D1406 4000Kv motor pulls it straight up. Plan to use another one in a HERR Starlite

    amazing little motor

    it has a lot of power for its weight, with a 5030 prop on 2s with a 12A esc, it will comfortably put out 240g of thrust.
    the shaft is very strong and having a shaft with a common thread on it is an underrated feature of small motors and improves durability substantially. on that topic, i have put this motor through hell, crashing it into the ground, into trees and everything else near it (I have flown it a lot) It just can't break. the lock nut is getting a bit worse for wear but that is really cheap to replace. I would say it has flown for at least 40 hours on a small and slow fpv plane and it is showing no signs of its age.
    highly recommended!

    I use them on a twin engine 400 gram plane, and they work great. I use a 5030 prop and that works great... I think a 5020 would be better for my slower flying application... Comes with a nylon lock nut NOT the nut that is in the photo! no problem for me... but just FYI... Great buy. Happy Flying!

    I instalsd on my 130 frame with 3x4x3 props and on 3s dont perform so well.
    On 4s they are great, 4s 500mah beast, flight time like 5 min hard and not even warm.
    Great motors for small quad and 4s

    Acceaptable motors

    Bought 3 sets and in ea hi 4 set 1 had an issue with the bearings( noisey)
    Overall work fine, durable great for 130 frame.
