I don't have much luck on this plane. It does fly, but hard to control. The aileron do nothing. I stiffen with flat cf, still not much use. When I give some rudder, the plane will bank down. Bringing her up is impossible. I think there is not enough power. I will try 5030 prop.

Component quality is good.
Supplied prop is differen from what is written in the manual.
Manual is veery good with colored photos.
Kit was easy to buid, landing gear is a bit weak which I strengthened and they forgot to mention in the manual that you have cut the ailerons loose and fix them with an adheisive tape with 1-2mm space between the wings. (better not use the suggested tape in the manual because it's not sticky enough).
I have strengthened the ailerons with a little bit of carbon for better and straight movement.

First flights where tough, moves agressively, using the Turnigy x9 I had to program 65pcnt expo on the ailerons and 50pcnt on the rudder. For take off I had to expand elevator up endpoint to 120pcnt. After a few crashes I needed to reinforce the nose beacause the foam can rip apart.

Overall a fun little plane and due to it's size perfect for indoor (you'll need a lot of space!), but not for beginners.

On Micro CristeenEagle bipe using the HK104RX-S (SuperMicro Systems) you can plug esc in to any channel you like and then elev' ect' to were it works best,and then set thottle on esc(up > down) and restart works for me,been 3 weeks now and no glitch's yet fingers crossed.Using 2s turnigy 180 and plush 6a, tail>2xUltra Micro servo's, 1xHK 3.7g(ailerons)extend tape hinges and servo arm.Flys nice just need more travel on Ultra Micro servo's.not really 3d yet:).. frontend needs reinforcing. will hover,needs longer tail control horns and would be great.does not like wind.

Nice JR SuperMicro Systems Module,just watch the aerial base,tighten with locktite and dont over tighten aerial.Origanal module from 9X now has its own aerial on the back,good for sim to.Great stuff HK

Aeromodelo bem pequeno e requer muita habilidade e pacincia ao montar. Sugiro colocar dobradias plsticas ao invs de fitas adesivas e reforos nos ailerons pois os mesmos so muito flexveis e no respondem aos comandos. O motor no funcionou e tive que substitu-los... Vamos ver se vai voar...

Nice looking little bird. Quality is good. Motor and ESC works fine. Manual is OK, but really not for beginner. Missing steps on the cutting a slant part on the aileron, rudder and elevator. The aileron not working so well. The bottom aileron is to flimsy. I put some carbon rod to stiffen it, but it doesn't help. I need to mix with rudder, otherwise the plane won't turn. In the future I will replace it with depron and wider.

This was my first order from HK, delivery time & notifications were excellent, the order was complete and well packaged.

The aircraft was what I expected but could not fly due to the included motor not working (have returned it & still awaiting reply 4 weeks now). In the meantime have bought from my local supplier a 2000kv 5g (after reading reviews of the c05 motor being underpowered).

The plane is pretty slick with this motor & very manouverable although slightly heavier with 3 cell 250mah battery. The ailerons (3mm EPP) are ineffective due to bending so have replaced them with 3mm balsa which fixed the problem - depron would be better due to weight factor but I didn't have any.

Be sure to put right thrust on the motor as described in the manual, I didn't and as a result the aircraft wouldn't turn right. Lovely little plane but the included motor is rubbish & HK while good with their communication they are very slow on warranty claims. I won't be ordering again till this issue is resolved - Brent (AUS)

Brought this after reading the reviews now i have it and have flown it i thought id do my own.
The kit builds easy and neatly but make sure you check all the pre glued areas as they are very week and come apart to easily, the ailerons are no good at all and will need enlarging i used some acetate sheet to do this 2.5xlarger.
The rudder is far to vicious on the recommended settings so turn this right down or it will pitch over in a rudder turn...! mine is now set to 1cm each way and its still a little much.
I built it as light as i possibly could with the minimal of glue and used only cyno and kicker very thin when needed which has worked very well.
Flying...... first flights were indoors (large sports hall) with standard ailerons and throws as per the kit instructions.... not good at all..! there is no aileron authority at all may as well not even be there, the elevator is rubbish and the rudder far far to vicious, unless your seriously good flying in doors dont even try this it will end badly(its quite quick as well).
After all of the control surfaces were enlarged (except rudder) it was transformed into a totally different beast, it will now roll loop prop hang harrier and knife edge quite easily OUT DOORS....! this is not an indoor model but great outside on calm days it really doesn't like wind at all.
Conclusion: Advanced to expert not for the beginner, be careful installi

After reading reviews was going to buy one and get separate AP05 motor with 5030 prop....But now HK adds extra box to order which doubles the shipping weight. Shipping too expensive! 50g plane but 1000g shipping!!
