The Creality series of 3D printers are very quickly becoming the leading go to printers on the market. The Ender 3 is in the middle of their range which makes it very popular amongst the general modelling fraternity, the Ender 3 has been nominated as one of the best 3D printers for under $250. It's open frame design, good size build volume and wide filament compatibility at a fantastic price makes this a great choice for first timers at this fascinating and rewarding hobby or for the more experienced user.
A key feature of the Ender 3 is the Resume Print, this means it has the ability to resume printing eaven after a power loss or other lapse in printing. Other features are compact design, quick and easy assembly, V-Slot with POM wheel which allows it to move quietly and smoothly, a tight filament path which improves compatibility with flexible filaments and a safety protected power supply. The Ender 3 is compatible with Creality Slicer, Cura, Repetier-host and Simplify3D software and file formats STL,OBJ and G-Code.
The heated bed is a very useable 220 x 220mm which is perfect for printing reasonable size products. The control box has an LCD display and set up is very straightforward with the simple twist and push selector/programme button. All in all a great printer that will print sizeable pieces, is easy to use and at an excellent price.
