Can't post in Discussions, so here are some tips I've picked up recently.

Despite following instructions in the manual, I managed to brick (seemingly) the flight controller upon first connection to CleanFlight. I learned a lot in the following few days, so here's info that may help others with this model:
1) The flight controller is based on the Seriously Pro Racing F3 (SPRACINGF3 in the Cleanflight Firmware Flasher), not the 'Mini' F3 as the product page on HK might suggest.
2) If you do manage to screw up the flashing, the boot button is almost exactly in line with the SBUS plug slot on the main board. Hold this in (you'll feel it click in) while you plug in the USB. There will be no flashing lights to indicate it's on; this is okay. Let go of the button once the USB is plugged in.
3) I never once managed to note a successful verification of the flash in Cleanflight. That is, the firmware would upload to the FC, then the verification failed every time. Despite this failure, the FC should still boot with the new firmware without issue. Remove and reattach the USB after flashing and you'll see it has worked.
4) Version 2.x of the F3 firmware is quite different from the old firmware in some key areas. Despite following instructions on how to back up and restore the settings, I found it couldn't restore everything as some key commands had changed. You'll have to go through bit by bit and set certain settings manually. Examples include 'PID Tuning' (Roll & Pitch RC rates are now combined) and 'Servo Direction and Rate' settings, which require you to manually change them all to -100%. Go through the backup file carefully as there are a number of other settings.

I got this in 2 days with that fed ex shipping. I ordered stuff on amazon the same day and I got this faster than the amazon stuff lol and this was from Hong Kong. Mind blown with the Shipping. Everything is in perfect condition. Great website! Will definilty buy from here more often.
