The engineers at Durafly have come out with another easy to fly hand launcher: the Durafly Brewster F2A Buffalo. Prior to World War II, the US Navy was looking for a monoplane to fly off their aircraft carriers and the Buffalo was the winner. The Durafly Buffalo comes in two stylish color schemes: the easy to see US Navy pre-war colors and the early World War II US Navy colors.

Unfortunately, the Buffalo was no match for the Japanese Zero and Oscars but it did perform well for the Finnish Air Force against the Soviets.

This is a superbly finished model made from tough EPO foam and molded plastic fittings. Stickers are pre-applied and it also comes with a realistic scale pilot. The motor and ESC are already fitted. As with other Durafly products all control surfaces have ball links for more precise flying.

The Brewster Buffalo starts flying with an easy hand launch. With the power to burn it will easily perform loops and rolls with a few Immelmann’s thrown in. Some slow passes will easily show off the mid-set monoplane wings and stubby fuselage design that makes for straightforward belly landings.

Bought this to use my abundance of 3s 2200 battery's in . Its a well built little model . when in the air it , looks bigger than it is , probably due to the fat fuselage , its pretty quick as well and quite acrobatic I have plenty of EXPO as its a fruity little beast , with mixed flying I am getting around 9 minuets using a panther lipo , and the C of G is spot on . This is not for a novice . would recommend .

Was very impressed. Needs about 75 percent throttle to hand launch. Bit pitchy but ok on 8mm elevator throws.
Really fun to fly and robust.

Looks Great, Very Fun To Fly

I have had my eye on the Brewster for a while and finally pulled the trigger. Despite the real plane being labeled the "worst fighter ever built" this one flies great and it tons of fun. CG is very important in this stubby plane so pay extra attention. My first flight with a 2200 Turnigy 3S pushed all the way up front resulted in a controlled crash. I added 1oz lead weight up front and now it flies perfectly.
It is very fun to fly and other than some high-speed passes I fly at 50% throttle most of the time which is plenty of power for any realistic maneuver. Landing is stable but you do need to keep power on until the very end. Especially if there is no head wind. Make sure you have the ESC brake active.. If the prop is spinning when you come in the plane will cartwheel.
That said, its a tough plane for the most part... I wish they sold a replacement cowl (black part) mine is quite chipped and broken up from my initial crash and a couple bad landings.
Currently my favorite parkflyer prop plane.

This plane does not fly tried many times. Other club members have had this plane they two could not get it to fly. it was just a wast of money.

Good quality, nice looking fast little plane!
In order to get the CG right, I had to add +- 30 grams of weight into the nice. Once the CG is okay, it flies like a knife through butter.
