This little gem is a fantastic Quad frame kit! I have no issue with this little beasty and with Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 2822-1275 and some 8x4.5 props this thing is very quiet running. Im using the 12A afro esc and a kk2.15 mini board with very low gain settings and im getting 20 minutes with a 2200mah 40c! I covered mine in black carbon fiber vinyl on the bottom plate and red carbon-fiber vinyl on the top plate. Looks great with red Props and really has tons of power and is very Fun to fly.......I was racing against some rc truck's today and it was fun to win in sheer speed and even better to blast up to the moon after i would win each time and boy did the rc truck guys have problems keeping there eyes on there machines i mean how cool is a little zippy quad????

This is a affordable lightweight frame great for beginners wishing to build a quadcopter. The top and bottom mounting plates are of adequate thickness and also flex a slight bit. However, the weakness of this frame is in the arms. The plastic is made of extremely poor quality. You can clearly see the molding and chiseling lines on the arms. The arms are easily snapped at the motor mounting section where it is thinner than the other parts. You can't buy replacement arms for this so either buy 2 kits or not at all, because you are bound to snap an arm.

Good quality parts on this if a little heavy but with the setup i'm running i don't have a problem in that way. setup is KK2.1.5 3s 2200, D2822/17 1100kv, 8x4.5 props, HobbyWing X-Rotor 20A OPTO ESC. its off the ground before 50pcnt throttle. would be nice if it had a 3rd deck on top though.

Very pleased with this little frame as this was my frist quadcopter build. Not only pleased with the product, but the wealth of information on this site through videos Hobbyking has done, and the discussions. I have just ordered the F450 frame and the electronics to start my 2nd build now that I've got my first under my belt.

The frame is pretty solid and the arms have little flex for me. Running 1400kv 28mm motors, 25A ESCs, 3-4 cell lipo, and a Multiwii flight controller. This thing is very fast and pretty tough. I've had a few crashes and yet to have an issue. The top plate will need to be drilled for a 30.5mm board or you can buy an adapter board and drill it. If you do this you can put a large battery in the bottom tray and fly for a while. This guy does sit low to the ground as well, do not plan to put the battery underneath without modification. Great buy, definitely would again.

was a little surprised that its so brittle one crash snapped a leg it is cold here was very disappointed if you buy one get two for spare legs
