This H-King version of this very impressive F-18 Super Hornet is manufactured in EPO foam and is beautifully finished in an authentic USAF color scheme with the decals pre-applied at the factory. The H-King F-18 has outstanding flight characteristics in its own right, it flies like it is on rails, but the pre-installed ORX 6-axis gyro takes this to another level. Pilots of all levels of experience will benefit from using the intermediate gyro setting, this really does improve stability and smoothes out the flight, especially in windy conditions. For beginners and low hours pilots, the flight stabilization system makes it even easier to fly. It utilizes a 32bit MCU for ultra-fast control response and has 3 settings, gyro off, gyro on, and training mode. In the training mode, the gyro gives full stability and also limits the amount of roll and pitch that can be used. In gyro-on mode, this gives slightly less aided stability and does not limit the roll or pitch that can be used, perfect for smooth, jet-style aerobatics. In gyro off mode, it is exactly that, no gyro at all.

The H-King F-18 is modeled on an airplane from MX 46 Squadron, the Marine Experimental Squadron that tests radar, targeting, and weapons systems. it even sports a pair of Sidewinder missiles on the wing tips. A low parts count means that assembly of the H-King F-18 Super Hornet is quick and easy. It comes mainly pre-built with the 50mm 12-bladed EDF, motor, ESC, and servos pre-installed. All you need to do is glue on the nose cone, plug in the two wings (these are held in place with strong magnets), assemble the tail parts, and install your chosen receiver and battery, that's it!

Unlike similar EDFs on the market that use a 3S battery, the H-King F-18 has been designed around a 4S set-up. This makes the H-King F-18 stand out from the crowd, it gives it the extra power to do those huge looping and vertical maneuvers that fast jets are renown for, it also looks fantastic when doing fast, low passes over the take-off strip. The flight characteristics of the F-18 do not stop with fast-flying only, the slow-speed handling is exceptional as well, with slow, high-alpha passes being a breeze to perform.

To summarize, the F-18 Super Hornet is quick and simple to build, it is tough, the stabilization system makes it very smooth and stable in all weather, and the 4S set-up gives it loads of power and speed. This super cool H-King F-18 Super Hornet is a must-have to add to your squadron of airplanes.

Features

Authentic scale detail and color scheme	Supplied with an ORX flight stabilizer with 3 different flight modes (Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert)
This model aircraft faithfully replicates the authentic scale details and color scheme of the F- Super Hornet fighter jet. Crafted with high-precision molds, every line and surface strives to match the prototype, delivering a stunning visual experience. Its distinctive United States Air Force livery, coupled with pre-applied, exquisite decals, enhances the model's realism. From the logos on the fuselage, the intake design, to the intricate tail fin details, every aspect embodies the manufacturer's commitment to quality, allowing model enthusiasts to appreciate the charm of the Super Hornet up close.	The model comes equipped with an advanced ORX flight stabilizer, offering three distinct flight modes catering to pilots of varying skill levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert. The Beginner mode is ideal for novice pilots, enhancing flight stability to make takeoffs, landings, and basic flight maneuvers easier to handle. The Intermediate mode allows pilots to gradually tackle more complex maneuvers like rolls and dives while still providing some stability assistance. The Expert mode unleashes the full potential of the aircraft's control, enabling experienced pilots to perform high-difficulty aerobatics and high-speed maneuvers, embracing the pure joy of flight.
Large battery compartment for easy access	Two-piece plug-in wing design with magnets and carbon joiner
The meticulously designed battery bay and equipment compartment natively support 4S LiPo batteries. With a nominal 14.8V output, it delivers robust power to motors and servos, significantly enhancing thrust efficiency. The upgraded structure features reinforced battery locks and optimized cooling channels to safely accommodate high-capacity batteries while managing thermal buildup under heavy loads. Compared to 3S configurations, the 4S standard setup improves climb rate and vertical maneuverability by approximately 30% without requiring airframe modifications.	The H-King F- Super Hornet model aircraft features a unique two-piece plug-in wing design that integrates powerful magnets with a carbon fiber joiner. The wings effortlessly snap into place on either side of the fuselage, held securely by the magnets to ensure stability and safety during flight. The carbon fiber joiner not only reinforces the connection between the wings and fuselage but also reduces overall weight, enhancing the aircraft's performance. This design simplifies the assembly process and facilitates transportation and storage, offering great convenience for model aircraft enthusiasts.
