Flew great until it didn’t

So I put it together per the instructions... wait, there was none I referred to YouTube and found what I needed there.
First flight; on 3s and all was great! Nice and Smooth. It handled very well... but it was set up (per website specs) as a 4s. So... second flight 4s! Flying great with a little speed! Put it a shallow dive (45 deg) and massive failure! It folded and broke into several pieces and spit out a brand new 4s battery to its death. After the walk of shame, and inspection, I have come to the conclusion that this plane needs to be 3s tops or more (longer) carbon rods installed. To sum it up, 3s and send it! 4s... reinforce it !

Good kit, missing a few things though.

I ordered this kit because I bought my friends teksumo, and it flew so well I wanted another one. I knew this was a kit, but it was missing stuff.
For one, the kit did not come with the hardware to mount your motor, even though it says hardware is included.
The second thing I noticed immediately was the battery compartment. I’m using a 3s 2200mah zippy, and I had to cut away some of the foam next to the compartment so it could fit.
Last thing I want to point out is that there is no hardware to mount your servos. You also need that as well.
Overall it is a good plane, it just needs some minor work to be better.

Quality isn't to bad , simple to build . however it does have a few design floors .
I had to re-enforce the nose area as it is incapable in it's present form of withstanding any significant impact without snapping off .
All the cutouts should be on top of the model to protect the lipo , receiver and speed controler from moisture and impact on landing .
Also the supplied fiber tape for the leading edge is substandard . I threw mine in the bin before construction.
The model has a wide speed range envelope and is a pleasure to fly .
I primarily use it for combat ,but to my surprise have successfully thermaled ( gaining height with no throttle for 10min ) and slope soared with it . Impressive !

Awesome Wing

Had this wing for a bit now and I just love it. I have the hot setup where I run it on both 3s and 4s. It is awesome on 3s to get the feel of it and fly's really well. The fun really begins when you strap a 4s onto it. Super fast and super agile and an absolute riot.
