Made a landing gear for my bixler out of this and this is just perfect. Made of thick but lightweight plastic, this thing won't break easily!

Not really sure what happened here, but I received them, mounted them and hung my heli on the wall, hanging from the skids, as usual and as all my other helis. Then the following night, big noise coming from the garage. Went down thinking the cat had done something stupid, but no, both skids were broken at the level of the screw hole. Heli on the floor, skid still on the wall...
Maybe I tighten the screw too much, but I'll go for original parts next time...

I thought these skids were VERY good value for money. Obviously there is a weight versus sturdiness factor. Like most things, it is a tradeoff.

I thought about using it as landing gear together with HK600GT pipes that you can find on this HK on Q450 quadcopter frame but with the pipes this weight exactly 50 grams which is a bit too much. All in all great purchase so far, dirt cheap.
