Too big and heavy for 50A HK 'Small Bolt' Boat, but do it's job.
Need to buy more compact-size for Small Bolt, but it's my fault.

Great for the price. But it doesn really work at 2S. At 2S in three of four times, the motor doesnt spin and the ESC reboots. (Tested with several motors, lipos and receivers) Dont know if its damaged. But on 3S and 4S absolutely no problems! And because I will only use it at 3S and 4S I dont care the 2S-problem.

I bought this coupled with the Turnigy 3520 1700Kv Outrunner motor and it did not miss a beat. The 26" Deep Vee Self-Righting Hull boat was powered by 3S 20C 5000mAh, using a CL-08B prop and the thing was whistling past me. Did a test afterwards and the temp was low enough that I couldn't tell if it was just ambient temp or the actual ESC temp. Highly recommended.

der Regler funktioniert wunderbar, keine Probleme und fr den Preis der absolute Hammer!
Sehr gut, ich werde ihn weiterhin verbauen, die Programmierung klappt super mit der Progkarte, sehr einfach und ruckzuck gemacht.

Awesome ESC. I installed in a Pro Boat Miss Geico 24 with a 3500kv Turnigy Aquastar running on 3s 5000mah 20c Zippy lipo. This thing flies. I cannot hit wide open throttle for fear of flipping it. I hope this review helps. Two thumbs up HobbyKing on a great product.

I have used airplane ESC HK-50A on my airboat until it burned.
I changed this burnt ESC to this HK-50A.
It is pretty cheap, has reverse and other useful options, well build but does not work well with my 1350KV motor and 3S battery.
When I try to start motor emits squawk sound and tries to turn in reverse direction.
When I reprogrammed it to start Mode1 and Timing 0 squawk sound almost gone but sometimes suddenly appear.

Very nice neatly made esc. Waterproof design. Great value. Worked great in my boat even though I was pushing it to the limit. I finally bought a larger esc but this one is still working so I am saving it for a smaller boat project in the future!
