The holes drilled all the way through will also make the stand adjustable in length and also keep the rods from popping out.

Product arrived on time and well packaged. Assembly was straight forward with no issues. Quality of materials was excellent. I did note that when working with the model on the stand, the ends would back out of the support rods making the stand a little wobbly. Rather than glue the rods into the support ends, I carefully drilled out the ends of the rod holes and inserted a threaded rod through the connecting rod and secured with washer and nut on both ends. Worked great, no issues for me with clearance and I feel better about using them for both table work and transportation to the flying field.

The one I received is sturdy and the carbon fiber poles fit so snugly,, I had to force them in. If they happen to come loose like others have experienced, I'll simply run a threaded aluminum rod through the center and nut them down at the ends. Presently, it is unneeded and I am happy with this purchase. Worth the expense of the competitive pricing.

This has to be the best thing that I have added to my collection since joining the hobby. What a great design it is. It keeps my RC planes of all sizes in a secure position while I am working on them. I don't know how I survived without one for so long. I use rubber bands linked together to keep each item, whether it is a plane, a glider or even a car securely fastened while I work on it. The addition of magnets to the feet of the stand will make it even more versatile in the future. I love it.

Very sturdy. However, I use two elastic straps to keep the two metal tubes firmly inserted into the four holes on the wooden sides. Otherwise, the metal tubes can accidentally slide out of the wooden sides. I purchased a second one and have planes stored on them.
