moteur que j'ai command pour le kart et dont j'ai d reforer un trou la bonne distance... Sinon, il fonctionne super bien



I ordered this motor for kart 1/18 which I had to redrill a hole at the right distance ... Otherwise, it works great

I used this motor to upgrade a 1/18 HSP Tojan buggy to brushless along with an 18A Turnigy ESC. At first, it worked perfectly, but shortly the motor developed a "stutter", and then failed altogether within a week or so (2-3 lipo battery runs/cycles). Some research on hobby boards I frequent revealed this "batch" of these 2040 motors seemed to have this problem frequently. Currently working with Hobbyking on a refund/replacement. So far, they have been responsive. Hopeful it's just a QC issue...will update, but be cautious with this motor for now.

Put this in my Vendetta ST. Lots of power but the front cap stripped and popped off on the first run. I need to try to loctite it. Becareful... Loctite the front cap before you install on motor mount.

I use it in my 1/8 HK 118B car. VERY hot after 10 minutes even if i use a 12t pinion instead of the 15t stock one , minus one star.

To my surprise

- Front part was not glued i had to do it myself, minus one star

-screws to fix it are not 3mm screws, i had to search screws to fit in.

I have used this motor on classic 64mm 5 blade fan with 3s battery, absorbed current was 35 amps and it burned on the secon flight as i expected.... because max amps allowed are only 20

Seems like a good motor but the shaft diameter is bigger than 2mm. It won't fit on my 2mm pinions.

Used this motor on my Typhoon II (as others described) but didn't remove the first cooling ring. There was no apparent difference, and the motor finally gave the Typhoon II the life I expected. Loops and verticals at 1/2 throttle using a turnergy 2200 20C battery.
