This is the upgrade lower suspension arm set for a Trooper Nitro or the Trooper EP SCT. A little bit more on price but well worth the price. I just wish that HK put this as standard but overall 4 stars.

I purchased this product some time ago as a upgrade/replacement and have had multiple runs with my electric turnigy trooper 4x4 since then. The biggest issue with buying this upgrade is that it makes the bulkhead the weakest point in the suspension system. I contacted HK then Turnigy about the possibility for alum bulkheads and it is 'currently' not in the planned upgrades for the trooper. For how often you break the plastic version of this part and for the price I would say the upgrade is unnecessary and costly at least until/if the aluminium bulkheads become available.

If you do buy any of these aluminium suspension arm upgrades make sure to have thread lock as both the grub screws (that are meant to hold the ball joint) and the ball joint threads for the steering knuckle themselves work loose while running.

Summing everything up, the build quality is good (grub screws can strip the aluminum thread if done up too tight), get thread lock, Price is high (but compared to other hobby brands still low), don't hit rocks or you will have to bend them back into shape ;), buy spare front bulkheads or build a better suspension linkage out of sheet steel and the aluminium upgrades make your trooper look awesome.
