The latest XYZ replacement ignition module is different to the one pictured. Mine has a nickel plated case, wire mesh guard on all leads - including the spark lead, and universal JR/Hitec/Futaba servo connectors on the battery and sensor leads. This is a significant improvement in quality over my original unit which failed after many flights. If your sensor lead has the automotive style connector then it's worth buying a new sensor or you may need to re-terminate the connector.

This CDI uses it to make a magnet motor (Homelite) to 25cc CDI for model aircraft, with little money you can reuse for model aircraft engines

Im very disappointed with HK. This item was out of order for a long long time, them now became BK so HK sells the engine and now cannot provide spare parts. Also, I didnt found a place to buy a similar one looks like they stop assembly this kind of CDI and nobody else have it. HK what your concern about this? Regards.

BEWARE CDI

I brought yet another cdi for a 50cc xyz

It arrived but they have fitted a futaba type connection which of course doesnt fit the original hal senser connection. I emailed hobby king to ask for the correct wirering details to be fobbed off !!!

its a pisstake !!!

Good ignition, I bought also a sensor and it works very well on my modified weed eater 18cc engine.
