I bought this as a replacement for a 450 servo that went bad. The bad one was this same servo. There was tiny piece of metal shaving from the gear that got jammed causing the servo to overheat and cause a short. My 3GX controller kept resetting and causing a crash. I opened the servo up, cleaned it and now it functions properly. Even though these servos work well and are pretty cheap given their performance, I would open up all the servos, clean the gears, re-grease and make sure they run smooth with no binding or too much friction. Otherwise, you can't beat the price. They are as good as align servos, but because of the price I guess quality control sometimes is affected. No big deal, just check the gears before you install them.

I bought these for the swash of my 450 what a difference no more rocking from side to side. I had the HK 922MG they did not do the job. There is very little play in the gears.

Good value for money.

Elevator servo on my 450 began to jitter after 200 flights, replaced it.
Gears are ok. Heli had some lighter crashes, so it's OK!

Overall a good servo. Will order a new spare one.

These were great at first, but after maybe 25 flights on my 450 (used them for cyclics), they all developed the same weird behavior. When moving from endpoint to endpoint, they would change speed when crossing through the center point. All 3 servos did this. This resulted in control problems with the heli. They were not crashed. I took them apart, but gears all look fine. I suspect an issue with the pots. Won't be buying these again.

These are truly excellent servos. Very quick response time even at 4.8 volts, loads of power and holding torque, best servos I've ever purchased. Using them as an elevator servo for a 180 degree rotation all-flying stabiliser on a LeFish glider, and also as a tail servo on a tricopter using the Rotorbits tail mechanism. Both applications work really well. Highly recommended.

Servo bom e rapido... Porem com engrenagens muito ruins... o meu 450 teve uma micro lenha. so deitou e la se foi as engrenagens... e o pior nao tem engrenagens a venda...

I use this on the gaui X2 as cyclic servos. So far, the gear slop is fine. The servo height is lower than the regular size which is good for my application. They work fine so far. I m happy with it.
