The VLocity Diesel Multiple Units (DMU) are an evolution of the NSW Xplorer/Endevour DMU railcar sets built by ABB Transportation, now Bombardier Transportation. The initial design called for a maximum speed of 145km/h but this was upgraded as part of the "Regional Fast Rail" program to 160km/h. The VLocities have proven very popular with the travelling public and are highly regarded for their comfort and reduced travelling times between regional cities.

This is a Ltd Edition V-Line VL45 center car only in red, purple and yellow with "Escape to Western Victoria" emblazoned on the sides. The advertising campaign was in 2013 and the car is in the revised color scheme of that period. Features of this beautifully made car are interior detail and interior lighting.
