if you want a good plane for th money this is one for you..

Parts needed I give an 4.5 out of 5 as motor mount for electric motor is needed but typical in most gas planes.

Cut of wood, film finish, glass and cowl I give 5 out of 5 very nice. wood is laser cut, film is thick and tuff, paint on cowl is beautiful..

Design as far as use at the field I give 4.5 out of 5 as I don't think there is any better this will need just a couple of mods.

Fit I did find the typical misalignment of the tail fins this will take some massaging as I have found most wood arfs do. a little sanding here and there but not bad. I give 4 out of 5 for this.

landing gear seems a tad weak with the smallish wheels I already have the bigger wheels I give a 4 out of 5 for this also..

this is a gas/electric as far as fitting a battery some mods will need to be done but nothing major I give this a 4.5 out of 5..

all in all very nice plane.

Great value. The plane went together without problems. Its one of the first artf's i've built that did not require trimming the tail seat to make it square - it is a surprisngly accurately built model. I fitted an old Zenoah 23 mag, and put the battery pack in the tail - balance was spot on. It flies great. I fly from rough ground and fitted tundra like tyres. It practically comes to a standstill for landing approaches even with the heavy Zenoah - I'm very happy!

I have bought one of these, and just love it.. its sold as an electric airplane, but it comes with a fuel tank and motor mounts for a nitro motor. I installed an ASP 91 four stroke and it seem to handle it quite well. Not much in the way of build instructions, but the hardware included was of good quality and if you have built an ARF model before, you will have no trouble.

Well, where do I start! Got this this afternoon came well backed. Unboxed and inspected all the parts, all in tact and a lovely finish. The hardware is great and comes with everything. I got a RCG 15cc engine for this which will pull it around nicely. The thing is massive! Comes with .60-.91 size engine mount and a nice size fuel tank. As always, a great price on hobbyking! just wrote a long reveiw with regards to the elevator /tailplane failure i had with mine but it logged me out befor i could post the short is that there is a swaffed joint half way along the leading edge of the tail plain that will crack under normal flying loads it has No BACKING SUPPORT BEHIND IT and is only about 5mm section at the highest load piont and is made of SOFT balsa
do your self a favor stripp the top covering off (its plain white) so easy to replave and put some supports behind the joint IF YOU DONT DO THIS IT WILL FAIL you have been warned other than that its a fabioules aircraft

i have just finished building this lovely bird and found some very minor issues while the hardware is of reasonable quality i found the ball links had very little adjustments so i changed them to metal clevis i have fitted a super tiger 75 2st to mine and i have strengthed up the front firewall with a gusset and a diagonal brace from the canopy former to the fire wall i did this as there are four cut outs in the side for switches why you need four i dont know anyway with my set up the cg came out as spec and dry weight is 3.45 kgs which is great for a model of this size you will need some long servo extenstion and i painted all the inside of the cabin area matt black before i fitted the windows as it tends to make all the diagonal bracing disapear maiden is planed for tomorrow

This is a beatiful plane. It flies very slow, even without flaps, and "stall" is an unknown word for this model.
I'm using this motor Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 - 5055-430kv, a wood propeller 17x8, 3300 mAh 6S battery. At full throttle I measure 1.500 W and I have 1:1 thrust ratio!
It takes some hours to build it, but nothing really difficult, even with the poor manual provided by the manufacturer.
What else can I say? Oh yes, the landing is extremly easy.
Just one minor flaw: the wood triangles does not fit the landing gear. The landing gear seems different form what I see on the manual, so I think it is a new one.

This plane is great, buy one!! It was my first build and I'm very happy with it. I'm running the G60 and a Turnigy 5S 400mah in it. To obtain proper COG I had to mount the beast of a battery in the cockpit and add 4-5OZ of lead against the firewall.

Impressed with the quality of the preinstalled parts such as fuselage, wings, tail, etc. If you're looking for a big plane at a small cost, this is the one for you.
