The ToolkitRC WM150 1~50V 150A Advanced Watt Meter is a must-have for all users of electric powertrains for RC model airplanes, helicopters, drones, cars, boats, etc. The full color, wide angle, backlit, 2.4" 320x240 resolution LCD display, supplies graphs and histograms giving current draw, voltage, and watts instantly, and in real-time. The 32-bit ARM processor provides high-speed sampling, and instant recording, and also acts as a USB flash drive to download your data to a computer. A USB cable is provided in the box for this, plus it can be used to upgrade the firmware of the WM150.
The WM150 is very easy to use, simply connect your motor to the ESC, then connect the ESC power and signal leads to the watt meter, then finally connect your battery supply. Once everything is connected the control knob on the side of the unit, controls the PWM output to vary the speed of the motor from zero to full power. The WM150 has been designed for a wide input voltage of 1~50V and will handle current draws of up to a maximum of 150A. In addition, this device can act as a power supply and PWM generator, which makes it perfect for testing motors, and servos.
So, with the WM150 advanced watt meter, there is no more guessing what current your set-up is drawing (Amps), or what power you are developing (Watts). You can check out different propellers, or change the load on your power train to achieve optimum performance without overloading, the WM150 gives you all the information at your fingertips.
