I received this combo yesterday. I have installed it on my Yak54 30 inch wingspan... A slightly overpowered motor setup for this model but it works awesome. Highly recommended. 8x4 is the best prop. I am using GWS 8040. Plenty of thrust and power. Great value for money. What else would you get in a $20 combo... Awesome.

nothing but raw power. I wanted to see what this motor could do . How about a 1kg all up giant foamy F22 .On a 2170 25c 3s and the stock 8X3.8 prop This motor has been in 10 planes and 50 or more crashes ( got to love combat )and it still works like a dream see for your self

This combo is a great value. Setup is a little strange because you move the throttle based on the beeps you hear from the controller. Make sure you don't lose the paper that comes with it to decypher what each beep pattern means. The motor gets very hot after a little while at full throttle, but I don't see many people keeping it at full throttle. Very light and small but amazing thrust.

Here are the exact figures calculated on the Pc based on real data:

With an 1800 ma/h 3s battery, you get 900g of thrust, 21 amps on the esc and about 4-5 minutes of full thottle time with this 8x3,8 prop (which is the best with 67% efficiency), for example a 9x6 pop would take about 30 amps with much lower efficiency, and would probably kill the esc. the motor input is 217 watts, output is 147w. Its great for planes up to 1kg for aerobatics

Escelente motor , muito verstil, pena que muito gasto !! Ele fica melhro quando se utiliza hlice 7x6 e bateria de 3s. mas recomendo !! motor muito bom !

Got my combo connected all wires properly but when at half throttle motor it begins to heat, at full throttle it smokes. Tested with and with out prop.

Got this combo for my f6f hellcat. Using a Futaba 7c tx & rx, 11.1 1300 mah, 10x6x3 prop but motor begins to get hot at half stick and smoke at full stick. Tested without the prop and does the same, it's a smoker...Help before it fries!
