Yesterday I tried without any measuring. I tried it on some experimental engine holder, in my room - mean not on plane.

Used prop 10x4.7, battery 3S 1300 and ESC 20A.

After approx 2 minutes of running with approx 45 sec of full throttle, the engine was extermelly HOT !!! I could not take it by hand for 5 minutes ! The ESC was almost cool (just quitely warm).

The motor works fine, quite and shows the power.

If I it was not such hot, I could tell the engine is great !

I ordered one of these for tests with the aim of making a quadcopter. The the cable comes out at the top where the prop fits on. Is it possible to turn the shaft around so that the leads are at the bottom? The shaft (and spare) have two grooves; a narrow one at the top for a ring fastener and a wider one for two hex screws.

I just received my Turnigy 2209 28turn 1050kv 15A Outrunner. I am very satisfied overall. It did take about a month to get after ordering, but it was well worth the wait and money. I'm running a HobbyKing 18A ESC with a 3S 15C 1000mah Lipo. I'm fling a home built dollar tree foam board Yak 54 36". Also using a 9x4.7 prop. It's performance is amazing. It will pull vertical as along as I let it. Couldn't be happier. Will be trying the 30" Yak 54 soon. I'll post back with results.

I use 4 of these with 9x5 CW and CCW props on my Quadcopter .

With it's low rpm and low amp consumption it's a good combo .

Better than the high rpm type I used before.

Hello,

I'm using this Turnigy 2209 1.050Kv since 1 year, with my Minimag and prop. 9x6 with a 3S-2200mah ESC 25A and I am very satisfied, when I am taking-off and go "upstair" because it is done very quickly !!!



*** Why are we obliged to wait because "BK" very often, to obtain news models ? could you organise you to have a bigger stock ?



I am beginer and I broke many things ... many times ... and I 'm obliged to order very often this product .
