Absolute rubbish, the rubber grommets (cones) are completely out of balance, which means even if you do get a prop "balanced" on this rig, in reality the prop will still be way out of balance. Also, the rubber grommets have no spring or retention collar so they don't lock the prop in at all.
Don't bother, spend a bit extra and get yourself a proper Dubro precision balancer (around $50) they are infinitely better and far easier to use.

Absolute rubbish. Can't even think of balancing a prop with this.

Sure they may be stuff I can do to make it work, but I paid for a product that is supposed to be ready to do the job.

i received mine and the first thing i noticed was that the rubber plugs are not balanced, then i noticed (after great pains) that the shaft point was off center causing a constant shift in the CG ref of the prop making balancing of a prop completely impossible.

the frame and magnetic design is in fact very good, but please address the issue concerning the pin and cones. these parts are critical.

Molded rubber cones are off balance. Shaft is slightly bent. Near useless. Don't bother with this one, spend a little more for better quality.

Trs bon produit et bien pratique.
Je m'en suis servie plusieurs fois et j'ai toujours t satisfait.
Il faut penser coller les aimant au fond de leur logement sous peine de finir par les perdre...

Les cones sont en caoutchouc, ils ne sont pas bavur et ils ont un dsquilibre (trou mal centr). Ce genre d'appareil devrait etre dja quilibr... Donc en l'tat il ne sert rien !
De plus l'axe est vrill de 5/10 (idem cela produit un dsquilibre).
Les aimants ne sont pas coller et aucune colle n'est fourni.
Je ne recommande donc pas ce produit.

The cones are made of rubber, they are not trimmed and they have an imbalance (off-center hole). This kind of device should already be balanced in the state ... So it is useless!
In addition, the axis is twisted 5/10 (ditto that an imbalance).
The magnets are not sticking and no glue is provided.
So I do not recommend this product.

Tut was es soll. Zusammenbau auch ok. Leider ist der Kunststoff sehr sprde. Einen Sturz auf den Boden hlt es nicht aus

The balancer is useless and perfect way to ensure your props are out of balance, the black plastic / rubber cones are not machined concentric to the shaft hole and they are not running true.
The cones are very loose fit on the shaft too making it impossible to "lock" the prop in place.
I've used other prop balancers years ago and they were all 100pcnt accurate, this one is just a by far the worst and is useless

The axle can't be correctly centered on magnets and is rotating with them. Rubber cones aren't balanced.

The example I received is NOT a precision balancer at all. Aside from the fragility issues, the prop mounting cones have their shaft bores way off centre. (Should be re-named an Un-balancer.) Wish I had read the reviews before wasting my money.
Solution: HK need to supply an updated prop mount shaft & cones that ARE precision centred. Then perhaps a laser cut ply frame to epoxy together to solve the frame problems. Great theory, poor execution.
