Buyers of this truck should take note - the truck is of reasonable quality for the price, the only major disappointment is the fact that the spur gear is made of plastic. Metal doesn't go too well with plastic gear. I haven't really even got past breaking the engine-in before the engine surged forward and was stopped by my leg. No damage on the car except for the main spur gear grinding down. I would highly recommend that if you are buying this that you also buy either the spur gear or a complete Central Diff box - the spur gear is metal (only supplied standard in electric version.

Update. Have been fun bashing and running on the local indoor track for over a month now and nothing has broke on this truck. Would not recommend but I have ran this through water out bashing and have drenched everything in water, air compressor and a good cleaning has done nothing to harm this thing or the electronics. Indoors, it has gone end over end, nose dives on triple jumps, roll overs and side swiping concrete barrier walls. I think SCT should stand for Short Coarse Tank. No regrets on this one, love it.

I have had this for two months now and out it through about 10 bash sessions. For about $100 (got it on sale) it is excellent value. The weak spots are the pull start (my friend has the same car and the pull start broke in a week but mine is still good) and the thin brittle lexan body which will crack with the slightest contact. Other than that, mine has been running strong and measured with radar gun to 49 kmph. I have since installed an SH .21 engine in my trooper and the extra horsepower makes it hard to control because front tires will balloon at very high speeds. But that's not fair since it's designed as a SCT and not for drag racing. Overall Four stars!

So this Rc nitro truggy is good for it money and well loud and got to the 2nd tank and the looked at the spur gear and well its not looking good so I recommend buying one of these PRODUCT ID: A2016T-32866 but all in all good truggy have not had time to drive it as waiting on spur gears.

You must go over all the hardware on this truck, I had a loose motor mount bolt, head bolt, shock mount. You MUST!!! also check the spur gear mesh before you even start the truck (mine was way off would have stripped the spur right away if left) and check shock oil levels (two of mine were low). After those checks truck performed great for its price point. Haven't broke a thing yet light bashing through about a half gallon. If your new to nitro there are no instructions for engine starting, tuning, or break in, have a printout off the web with you as a guide for these processes.

Have not even finished engine break in. Ran three tanks of fuel so far and I am very pleased with how this truck runs. SH engine has been quick to start and has been flawless running. Well worth money. Nitro Rocks!

Trs bon vhicule R/C que je recommande.
Ne convient cependant pas aux dbutants qui n'ont jamais pratiqu de thermique, le moteur ayant des rglages de base plus qu'approximatif.
Le rodage moteur n'est pas sorcier et se fait facilement.
La voiture a une excellente tenue de route une fois les amortisseurs bien regls.
La roue dente du diffrentiel central en plastique fait cependant peur, je conseille de vite acheter l'upgrade mtal.
Un regret, mais certains trouveront que c'est un avantage: la carrosserie est dj peinte... reste coller les stickers.
Le reservoir a une trs bonne contenance, le temps de roulage avec moteur bien regl avoisine les 10 minutes en 16pcnt sur un circuit moyen rapide.
La voiture a galement une bonne vitesse de pointe et n'a pas tendance "s'envoler".
Le freinage est par contre..... nul, moins de disposer d'une fonction ABS sur la radio; j'ai pour ma part une flysky GT3B qui dispose de cette fonction, trs pratique.
