After buying another 180 degree servo that did not rotate 180 degrees some time ago, I decided with some trepidation to try again, I am happy to report that this one does indeed rotate 180 degrees :)

I bought this servo to use as a camera pan servo and it works perfectly, even giving more than 180 of rotation.
However, there is one slight downside and that is the gear train is NOT 100pcnt metal! The main compound geartrain IS all metal but the pinion gear, mounted to the motor, and the small counter gear, from pinion to compound gear train, are made out of plastic.
Also, the diameter of the output spline is considerably smaller than your standard micro 5-10g servo splines, so it might cause complications in the future if you break or lose the supplied horns.

This servo stands on a nano-size plastic shaft, 1 mm of diameter.
There are three shaft, two metallic and this one in plastic. Also the first gear on the motor is plastic, but the weak ring is the thin plastic black shaft.
See the photo in the files section, I broke it after less than one hour of life.

If you are sure you don't ever go over the max torque for a second, maybe this servo can do its job.
Just remeber that your entire building stands on a microgram of plastic
