This fun little ready-to-fly cartoon version of a Me Bf-109E WW2 fighter plane looks great and flies great. This is due to its built-in switchable 6-axis gyro flight stabilization system that makes it perfect for both beginners and experts who want a small model that is just that little bit different. It is tough too, it's constructed from durable, crash-resistant EPP foam which is light, extremely strong, and ready to take all the knocks and bangs associated with learning to fly.

The 6-axis stabilization system is switchable via the transmitter from beginners mode which limits the amount of pitch and roll, plus it self-stabilizes, to 3D mode. This will allow the QF Bf-109E to carry out a whole host of aerobatic maneuvers such as rolls and loops. The gyro stabilization system is controlled by a push button on top of the transmitter. If you have 3D mode selected and get into a muddle whilst flying, a simple press of the button will return the model to the fully stabilized mode and it will return to normal level flight. The supplied transmitter also has an aileron and elevator rates function, once again this is a simple push button that will increase, or decrease the amount of throw of the control surfaces. Also included is a fail-safe system which will prevent any flyaways if the signal is lost between the transmitter and receiver.

The QF Bf-109E takes minutes to assemble, simply connect the aileron servo lead and attach the wing, then clip in the main landing gear legs, and the tailwheel. The model takes off nicely from a smooth surface, or it can be hand-launched if you wish as it is quite happy flying without the wheels for a more realistic look in the air.

If you wish to fly the QF Bf-109E with your own transmitter then the included receiver/gyro board can operate with Futaba S-BUS receivers or any other receivers with S-BUS ports. It will also work with multi-protocol transmitters if the correct protocol is set, details in the user manual.

The model is supplied with everything you need to fly out of the box (except Tx batteries) including a spare quick-release propeller with prop saver and spinner, a 3.7V 400mAh battery with USB charger, and a screwdriver set.
