I had really high hopes for these, but after buying 8 of these and the 4s1p over a period of the last few years I give up with zippy lifepo4 batteries. 3 puffed within 2 months of being on the shelf without even being run, 2 gave low voltage alarms of 2.5v/cell within 5 mins of running when the current draw was only 6 amps!, and now all but one have puffed and all have had less than 15 runs each. Was using them in a 100w portable led floodlight and a rc car. Might have to switch to a different brand (but not Turnigy as I just came from them and they are even worse!)

Just crap! One battery with defective cell and another battery loses 1V in a few hours without being used . HobbyKing replace the defective one but not the battery that loses charge. Funny, the replacement battery have too a cell damaged...

I have used 5 of these as the receiver/ servo power in large scale Model airplanes. They are great. I did get one that ballooned up that was brand new. It has a greater internal resistance than the other same model batteries. It causes it to drop double the amount of capacity next to the twin battery that is in good condition. I ordered another to replace it. If these batteries balloon don't throw them away, a good use is to use them to run the engine starter or glow starter unit. Two of them strapped together make around 12 volts. If they fail you won't loose a plane.

I use these LiFePos for receiver battery in my helis. This one is installed in a big scale heli. Good battries for that purpose. Recommended.

Great For the price. However the lower voltage of the pack will significantly decrese performance from a regular lipo pack.



I bought 2 of these for my boat and I have to say that the runtime is great (around 20-25 Minites) But the performance is nothing compared to a lipo or even a nicad.



The packs are verry stable no voltage,charging,or heat issues at all.

1 of the two cells arrived ballooned up. Other cell charged just fine. Did not return for Warranty as pack is so cheap I can just order another.

Super batteries , j'en ai dj acheter 6 et vraiment que du positif .
Meme autonomie que mes lipos 5000 mah sans les incovnients du lipo
pas de surveillance pendant la charge , pas de gonflement alors que certaines de mes lipos commenent gonfler , je ne comprends pas pourquoi les gens n achte pas pas plus ces batteries life .
A acheter pour tout type de modlisme la place du lipo dj dpasser par cette technologie .

Purchased 2 of these battery packs. Neither will hold a charge above the nominal 6.6 volts. My A123 packs charge up to 7.4 volts. One swelled on the initial charging using a Accucel 8 charger set for LiFe 2S. I haven't tried using them yet but I hate to risk a 30 airplane trying them. Feels like wasted money. I also question whether they are really LiFePO4 batteries. Seems like they are LiFe without the PO4.
