The RunCam Split 2S with WiFi is the new development by RunCam to get the most out of the already great combination of a split camera and processing board (with HD recorder). The processing board fits easily into your standard (30.5x30.5) FC/PDB tower stack with the camera fitted to an adjustable mount. No need for an extra camera to capture all the action from your flight.
The WDR camera running at 1080P@60fps will record all your favorite moments onto a micro SD card. There is now the ability to plug in the supplied WiFi board to allow easy control of your camera via an APP on your phone or mobile device. Great for live preview or video playback. You can even change camera parameters or do a firmware upgrade via your phone. Or just remove it when you’re not using it to keep the weight down on your quad.
The system also allows camera setup via a UART on your flight controller for another easy way to set up your system. Use your flight controller to turn on recording or turn on WiFi or switch between video or photo settings.
The RunCam Split 2S is an outstanding package that makes videoing your flights even easier with more control over your camera.
