Second from the Funfighter series I have purchased. Have had the BF109 for quite a while and wanted a new one. Same quality as the BF109 at first look...but unfortunately came with a 30A ESC that is only good up to 3 cells! It is a Hobbywing Skywalker which is in theory better than the unlabeled one that came in the BF109...but I intended to fly it with 4 cells like advertised. Now I have to purchase another ESC to accomplish this. Haven't flown it yet and was hoping to this weekend but now I can't because I have to order a separate ESC. Not a big deal since a 20-30A is more or less cheap...but it would have been nice to know ahead of time.

My third funfighter in the series behind the p51 and p47, the sea fury is of fantastic quality out of the box and "slotted" together quite nicely, running stock esc and motor with a nano tech 850mah 4s, balanced the CG no worries, first plane in the series I've brought we're gluing the wing on is required and given the sheer speed of these baby's allot of glue was used! As usual with these little weapons half throttle throw required or it will disappear, only one click of trim on ailerons and 3 down clicks for elevator for smooth flying, very stable very fast like the mustang and tracks along like an arrow but I've found the p47 to be the best on the slower end of the scale, fantastic aeroplane and loads of fun pilon racing :) going to keep buying these babies till I have the whole set, love them!!!

Got mine and although l knew the how big it was I was a bit surprized at the size of it. Put together and went down to the park and whoa what a beast. this has got to be the best little plane l have flown hobby king have made a great job of this, what a joy and the speed is crazy at low level. It turns on a dime and the climb rate is stunning. Worth every penny spent. Beat the hell out of a 165Km delta wing.

Ive got a few of the funfighters but this is by far the fastest and also id dare say the best looking in terms of scale,as with all the funfighters its an easy build and I always replace the elevater servo with a metal geared 9 gram servo as it transforms the handling, you don't want sloppy surfaces when your going this fast! I use a 1000mah 45-90c nano tech as far forward as possible and it balances nicely.

a serious bit of fun for not a lot of money on 4cell flat out speed is well over 100mph.

Excellent quality kit, the foam is particularly good. The electronics are ok up to a point but the elevator servo was very weak from the start and struggled to pull up out of even a shallow high speed dive so replaced it with a hitec hs55 which was a direct drop in replacement and transformed the performance. The aileron servo's has been fine so far (12 flights) as has the motor and esc. I have removed some of the esc heat shrink to aid cooling as it does get rather warm but again has been fine so far. Running on 850mah 4s 45-90c nano's, 3 min flight timer with 50 pcnt of the flight at full throttle. Speed is around 110mph flat out which for an aircraft this small feel's proper fast !!. The COG given in the manual is spot on (60mm) but the control throws are way to much for high speed flight on 4s, tone them right down and add at least 50pcnt expo and it fly's very very well. A great flying aircraft at a great price, just watch out for the elevator servo. Would I buy again, yes most defiantly !! :-)

The SeaFury is another top flying plane in the HK funfighter range,it goes together in about half an hour including setting up your radio.

The postal service is second to none as my was at my door in a matter of a couple of days once the order had gone through.

I've been flying nearly all my funfighters with HK's nano-tech 1000mah batteries and i don't find no problems with the CoG,on the odd one i had to remove a small amount of foam from the battery top hatch but no big deal and easy to do.

Best flying on 4s and not slow at all on 3s and i've seen people saying that the ESC's might not be up to the job but to be honest mine has been fine so far (touch wood) but i don't fly mine at full throttle only short bursts at WOT.

This one is one of the best looking out of the bunch but that might be because i just really like SeaFury's.

At this price i get loads of fun and i just might have to the another two to complete my collection of them.

115mph out of the box. You are going to want to switch the esc to a 35amp or better if you are going to run 4s. I use the turnigy plush 40amp and love it. Barley gets warm on 4s. I ran 115mph on 4s on the stock prop/esc. That was in a dive over the radar but it was still 115mph :) The foam is fantastic, the motors are great, the quality of the finish is awesome. I didnt do a single mod to my original seafury and its my favorite of my funfighters. Works great on the 4s 850mah 45-90c nanotechs!

Amazing fun. This thing flies like on rails. Very very fast on 4s. I got adrenalin shakes flying this thing :-) I wanted a funfighter and chose the seafury for its vastly different top and bottom colour for orientation in the air. Glad I did for when it zips around at 150kmh its handy for sure. On 4s hand lauchesnice at half throttle. Launch at full throttle and you may not see it again :-) I've had no issues with stock Esc and its performance leaves a big smile on everyone's face that sees it fly. Certainly no beginner plane, this is thing is nasty in the best possible way.
