The redesigned Volkswagen New Beetle was revealed at the 1998 Detroit Auto Show. The New Beetle was different from its predecessor, but the familiar shape remains.
The original Beetle design goes back to Germany in 1938. This kit features parts molded in yellow, black, chrome and clear. Comes with highly detailed exterior and interior. Exterior features include the rear fender, hood, roof, circular headlights, rounded tail light lenses, and an overall curved motif. Interior features include an assist grip above the passenger seat glove compartment, B pillar with safety strap, and the nostalgic dashboard flower vase. Solid synthetic rubber tires and waterslide decals.
