    Tried this for replacement of 540 motor. Used motor adapter plate from Tamiya Grasshopper. It runs very well.

    Love this little motor

    This little motor is a god send for me, after running through brushed motors on my custom 3d printed gearbox for my scratch built rc, i decided to go with this with a 120amp xcar (overkill i know) and it blows me away, does atleast 35mph before i run out of street, crazy torque and can hardly even tell it gets warm. LIke luke warm, think of cup of coffee sat out for a hour. Will be getting more of these for my projects they look super cool and provide great bang for buck! Plus it comes with a sticker, thats almost worth it itself.

    not a complete waste of money

    ordered this to use in mini e-revo and again i'm surprised. it works pretty well and provides nearly the same power than the original traxxas vxl motor. the original pinion gear fits nicely and mounting holes are spot on. the shaft is a bit too long so it needs a little cutting and it does not have the flat spot for set screw. flat spot can be easily made while grinding off the excess axle. i especially like that this is a little bit smaller than the original so you have more space.
