This truck is great for beginners like me, it goes real fast. Quality is good for the price. However I had a dead ESC and it was replaced with the warranty.

If you want a car to increase your driving skill don't buy this car. The weels are awfull balanced, the direction have lack of precision.

But if you are looking for fun, this car is great. powerfull motor, high speed and shock resistant.

Only few detail to pay attention, the spur gears don't have a big life experency, the servo is not strong enough.

If you consider the price, this Beatle is a must have

This is the first R/C car I've ever ordered from hobbyking, and in fact, the first R/C car ever. Quality is acceptable for the price, and there were no observable defects.

Even on a 2S lipo as recommended, the motor and ESC ran hotter than could reasonably be expected. In fact, quite toasty... yet to see how long the electronics will last at this rate.

Massive value for money! Mae sure you buy some spare spur gears when you order. Also adjust the slipper plate. In order to do so hold the spur gear and one rear wheel to prevent them rotating, then attempt to rotate the other rear wheel, you should be able to rotate this and feel some heavy friction as you are doing it. If you cannot wheel the other rear wheel, the slipper is too tight, loosen the capped screws slightly and try again. This will prevent you stripping too many spur gears!

I bought this on a bit of a lark. On paper it has a lot of good stuff, so I said what the hey! I ordered it and and in three days was at my door in Canada! Thanks Hobbyking and DHL! I was a little underwhelmed when I opened the box - the body seemed thin (but has proven to be very durable) and disconcertingly the ground wire for the servo was not crimped into the connector. Fixed that. then.I threw in a battery for a quick drive on the street and holy crap this thing is fast! It had a tendency to traction roll on pavement so I went to the ball diamond... this thing will climb the back stop!!! AWESOME! If it weren't for the loose wire it'd be 5 stars all around.
