definitely recommended if you have the display clearly visible, especially the green ones are clearly visible during the day. use a thin double-sided piece of tape. I made this mistake and it took me a lot of time to fix it

Green baclight is must have for turnigy 9x :-) Screen is much better readable with this. Instalation of this is quite easy.
