    Product Description

    More than just a fancy name, the Turnigy Nano-Tech LiPo batteries are designed from the ground up with serious performance in mind. Utilizing an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and higher discharge rates than similar LiPo batteries.

    For those who love graphs, it means higher voltage under load, straighter discharge curves, and excellent performance. For pilots, it means stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots! 

    Advantages over traditional LiPo batteries:
    • Power density reaches 7.5 kW/kg.
    • Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
    • Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
    • Greater thermal control, pack usually doesn’t exceed 60C
    • Swelling during heavy load doesn’t exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal LiPo.
    • Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.
    • Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
    • Longer lifecycle, almost double that of standard LiPo technology.

    The nano-core technology in lithium-ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

    These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

    Really high IR

    Bought for a Goosky S1 but the IR of each cell is well over double of the IR of the Goosky OEM battery. So okay for leisurely scale flying but not suitable for hard 3D.

    Battery 100% fine (recommending it), but transportation a disaster

    The battery itself is fine. Lives up to the expectations.
    I'd recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone.
    But one thing is just terrible.
    The postage and handling cost is ridiculous, compared to the value of the item.
    Also, this is a tiny battery but it comes in a medium book sized box.
    A terrible waste of space and material. In 2022 this is just plain wrong.
    It also explains the outrageous transportation prize.
    Putting it in a smalll envelope would cost at most 3 Euro's, now I'm paying the double for a box that is 20 times the size of the itiem within.
    I could -on a combination tour with some other shoppings- have picked up the battery from the EU distribution center myself, but HK doesn't provide that option.
    HK, you're long overdue offering local pick up.
