Turnigy nano-tech A-SPEC G2 lithium polymer batteries are built to the absolute highest of standards to provide competition level performance.

The A-SPEC G2 packs have the most stable consistent formula yet giving you peak performance without sacrificing reliability. Featuring gold plated balance leads, silver plated discharge wires and a CNT (carbon nano tube) additives mixed into the electrodes, these batteries are simply unmatched by any other in performance and build quality! The new CNT/electrode mixture reduces impedance, generating less heat and maintaining a higher voltage under discharge load. Basically this means A-SPEC batteries will provide constant high power your powertrain especially during high current draw manoeuvres, and they will provide a longer cycle life due to the lower operating temperatures of the pack.

Top notch performance and build quality make these packs ideal for high-demand flying such as 3D helicopters, EDFs, F3A and any other high current draw applications.

More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech A-SPEC lithium polymer batteries are built with a LiCo nano-technology substrate complex and an all new CNT (carbon nano tube) additive greatly improving power transfer making the oxidation/reduction reaction more efficient, this helps electrons pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rate than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) battery.

For those that love graphs, it means a straighter, longer curve. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Unfortunately with other big brands; numbers, ratings and graphs can be fudged. Rest assured, TURNIGY nano-techs are the real deal, delivering unparalleled performance!

Specs:
Capacity: 2600mAh
Voltage: 6S1P / 6 Cell / 22.2V
Discharge: 60C Constant / 90C Burst
Weight: 447g (including wire, plug & case)
Dimensions: 132x40x42mm
Balance Plug: JST-XH
Discharge Plug: XT60

Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries.
• Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
• Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
• Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
• Greater thermal control, pack usually doesn't exceed 60degC
• Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.
• Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
• Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

  • Capacity (mAh) 2600.00
  • Discharge(c) 60.00
  • Max Charge Rate(C) 2.00
  • Length-A(mm) 132.00
  • Height-B(mm) 40.00
  • Width-C(mm) 42.00

I bought 2 of these to fly my Goblin 570 12s setup and have been flying them for 8 months and am totally impressed. The cells were between 1-3 on resistance new out the box. Now they are between 6-8 per cell. Well worth the money IMO.

I got three of these batteries and all three have unmatched cells. After 5 minute discharge the cells show anywhere from 14pcnt to 56pcnt remaining capacity randomly among each of the six cells when checked after landing. i started with thoroughly balanced charge. These "G2" batteries are the worst matched cells i have ever seen. I have had to go to a lot of trouble to get these to 4.2v per cell on all cells after charge. I recommend avoiding these batteries. Poor quality control.

So far after about 12 cycles this is a solid pack. Very light, barely gets warm on a moderate day(70F ambient)and has a new but useful form factor. Run it in a Yak130 70mm pulling around 80 amps and a Rebel 70mm pulling about 90. Like I said so far so good it has handled the current without any problems. I only run down to 3.85v a cell and in either plan u still get a solid 2:30 min flying time. With this half off sale I just may pick up another 3 to replace my puffed regular nanotech 2650 45c 6s packs. So far all my A-specs have been solid as a rock with no puffing and this is no different.
