    Turnigy Seaplane 40A Brushless ESC w/ Reverse Function

    Turnigy has made another breakthrough. For those of us with sea planes it has always been a problem when you need to reverse your plane. Now you can with just a flick of a switch. Just ensure your motor has stopped before going into reverse.

    Features:
    • This function (AUX) can be connected to receiver AUX channel or other desire channel - be reminded to set the related channel travel throw at +- 100%.
    • It is specially designed for sea plane or EDF powered planes that need a reverse function when on the water.
    • XT60 and 3.5mm bullet connects fitted.

    Bonnes performances générales, mais pour un variateur destiné à aller sur l'eau il n'est pas étanche et j'en ai grillé un suite à un retournement de l'avion sur l'eau

    Good solid looking esc and its great that it comes with all plugs connected. So far I have not got it to reverse using Tx function. Anyone out there with any helpful suggestions please.

    I am using this ESC in my Polaris XL (120pcnt size) I am very pleased with its performance. The motor is a 2200 kv swing an 9" 3 blade prop. The ESC in burred in the fuselage with an additional heat sink protruding through the top. It does get a little warm on hot days and heavy use, but not a problem yet.     They work well with my big Canadair CL-415 twin. If you're not going to use the BEC, wiring is a little difficult. You need to connect the red wires of both RX-Connectors to each others just after the ESC, but don't connect them to the Receiver! Drawback is the lack of documentation, so HK leaves you outin the rain if you need something else than the standard programming. Sort of drawbacks I can live with for that price...

    Works perfectly. Just go to JustFly Solutions and download the EngRev app for your Taranis and it will protect accidental burnout of the motor and ESC
