This great looking and amazingly well priced little Aero Subaru is of a traditional balsa construction and features a highly detailed printed scale covering in an authentic Fuji Heavy Industries scheme complete with panel lines, etc and is just the ticket for some scale sport flying on calm days!

Whilst the fuselage is of a fully sheeted balsa construction for strength & profile, the Subaru is suprisingly light and only requires a low power/low cost power train, the servo count is also low and with only standard 9g servo's required, one thing is for sure, this is a scale model that won't break the bank to build! The supplied hardware is comprehensive & nice quality, particularly considering the low price of this kit, the Subaru is also practical and features a removable 1pc wing for easy transport, an easy access battery hatch and robust under-carriage, including a steerable nose wheel.

If you are looking for an easy to fly sport/scale model in the "parkfly" size, the FA-200 may just be for you, cheap to buy and build, and offering the kind of durability that only balsa can deliver, this Subaru is just great value for money!

hi there, i received the plan , (at the end price of 94 dollars) as I got out of the box, looked really good quality, but then started to look at details and there are a few minor details that have not been taken care of ... the cowlyn was already crack before I got it out of the bag, and is of very poor quality. (eggshell) the other thing is how does the front steer wheel go on? I can not find the way. Has anyone got photos of how they have put in on or can explane? in the instruction book (very poor quality photocopies, must have run out of tonner) you can not see how this is done.............. also it does not show how you/or if you connect it to the rudder servo (on ilustartions you can only see the rudder conected to the servo... Does this mean it is not ment to be steerable? construction faillier? ... Now looking at how the wings sit in place, I am not sure if it will fly, as there are gaps all around back part of wings wr it is meant to meet fusselage, looks like it is not a good fit....
