This is the perfect size for Micros and specialty application where you need the better penetrating power and range of the 1.2GHz band but size is limited. The set is matched and tuned to work flawlessly together and has 4 channel selectivity. Their ability to work as low as 3.3v makes this perfect for single cell applications. Time to fashion up some spy gear or micro FPV flying action!!

Very light VTX - only 1.1g with shorter lead & smaller plug. have had some success with a WLToys v212 & 808 #16 camera, now trying with a 2g camera on a V252 (Hubsan X4 clone). Would buy another if they ever come back in stock !

When you keep in mind this tiny transmitter's intended use (close range) and it's 19.99 price, it's just great! Yes the soldering is very weak but you're going to need great soldering skills for FPV anyway. It fits great in an SD card case and it's a blast for micro FPV at close range. See a couple of pictures I posted under the Files tab.

Soldering quality sucks badly on RX. It came with 2 loose wires (video and GND). REALLY hard to solder them back.

Neat little set, if you can run 1340MHz in your area. HobbyKing needs to provide instructions on how to change channels, since they're listed in the product specs for the vTx and vRx. Otherwise remove them and advertise as a single channel set - 1340.

Operating frequency is 1340 MHz,(I uploaded picture- checked with frequency analyzer) unless there's a way to change channels with the solder pads, but I've read you might fry it if you try to change channels with pads. It takes a few connect/disconnect cycles for the Rx to get and send the video signal to a screen. "Channels: 1280, 1300, 1320, 1340Ghz" description is misleading. Perhaps someone can figure out how to change channels on Tx. I tried the Rx with a 1280MHz Tx and it would tune to 1280MHz, seems it defaults to 1340MHz, pitty that's just outside the legal amateur frequency in the US and even Int'l:
1300-1350
AERONAUTICAL RADIONAVIGATION
5.337
Radiolocation G2
5.337 The use of the bands 1300-1350 MHz, 2700-2900 MHz and 9000-9200 MHz by the aeronautical radionavigation service is restricted to ground-based radars and to associated airborne transponders which transmit only on frequencies in these bands and only when actuated by radars operating in the same band.

5.337A The use of the band 1300-1350 MHz by earth stations in the radionavigation-satellite service and by stations in the radiolocation service shall not cause harmful interference to, nor constrain the operation and development of, the aeronautical-radionavigation service

I tried running at same time with a 1280MHz Tx and it was possible to receive both signals with little interference at close range

Great little kit if your after a very lightweight fpv setup. Works well with the micro camera with led in the recommended accessories.
