These protectors are built with no straight lines and corners. This reduces stress points to help eliminate breakage. A 10mm high guard bar protects the motor from damage during hard landings.

They can be used as replacement parts or due to the number of different colors to give your quad a different look.

Solid injection molded pieces. I was also initially confused as to how they fit on the diatone arms. They are meant to be placed between the actual motor and the arm, with the 'landing nub' going down. You can face it to the front or the back. So it basically cups your actual motor, with the flat side laying against the top of the arm.
