This is a simple and effective adaptor, but as said, you need to know what you are doing. If using this without the main charging leads, there is no need to clip any wires on this adaptor. However, if you are using the main charging leads at the same time, clipping one of the wires as shown at the scriptasylum.com site (this site is made and run by me) simply adds a safety measure in case hookup is done wrong.

Praktisch um gleich 2 Akkus aufzuladen. Jedoch unbedingt auf die Polung achten! Ansonsten waren es mal 2 Akkus!

Great adapter if you don't need to use a balance plug with the charger. Otherwise I'd recommend the Twin pack charge lead.
