Have you ever struggled to see into confined or inaccessible voids to locate a lost item or just to see what's going on in there?
With an almost endless list of applications from drainage inspection to wiring conduits, motor vehicles to underwater fish tank photography, this mini endoscope is incredibly simple to use as it plugs directly into your Android device or PC to be ready to take video or stills and store them at a moment's notice.
The 7mm diameter camera head is equipped with its own adjustable lighting thanks to the 6 built in LED lamps and, being dust and waterproof (IP67 standard) can be used underwater or in dusty conditions.
IP67 standard rates this item as totally protected against dust and protected against the effect of immersion between 150 and 1000mm
The set is completed by the inclusion of a micro/standard USB adapter, spring and magnetic mounting clips.
To use the endoscope with your mobile phone or tablet you'll need to download the CameraFi application from the Google Play Store so that your Android device can recognise the remote camera.

Love thisI've only done a quick check up as soon as I've receive my package, worked as expect and with good resolution. Noticed that the led heats up pretty quickly, advice: Use the lighting only when really needed. Excellent product for a very low price.Worked with the quick download of CameraFi app on my Samsung Tablet, but the app is littered with advertising which is annoying !
This is a good cheap option for that set of "just incase" tools we all have.Works fine. No problem downloading the App which worked as soon as connected. To use I found you need some sort of rod to control and support the lens / led unit. I used an old 36 Meg antenna and tape. If you have a need for a simple endoscope this is a very good unit.I forgot to say in my review earlier that the screw on 90degree mirror attachment has a thin, clear protective film on the surface of the mirror - carefully remove this (with tweezers) for much improved results when using the mirror attachment! Be careful not to scratch the mirror when doing this. This device does work great, the included paper instructions are very hard to read and don't explain things well so I will share with you here what I now know.
Firstly, it has an led brightness control located on it's cable located near the usb plug end. It is a little fiddly to use but works from "off" to "breight enough". It also has a button there for taking still photos!
Secondly, my unit did not come with a CD but the VIEWPLAYCAP app works just fine with windows10 on my desktop pc (as reported in other reviews).
Thirdly, I couldn't get the QR code to fing the app for my phone (HTC One) but the "MScopes for USB Camera" found in the "Google play store" works very well. I am having problems with the camera remaining connected however I think this is because the USB socket in my phone is worn.
I think this product is great! It works as it's supposed to and is really very cheap. A really nice touch is the included tools - a screw on 90deg mirror attachment, a wire probe and a magnet for picking up small objects stuck in stupid small places (think small washer dropped into an engine cylinder that cannot be retrieved any other way). It takes good photos, the video feature works quite well and apparently it can do audio too although I haven't gotten this to work, it's not a feature that I need however.
I don't normally write reviews but I am so impressed can fully recommend this product!
Jimbo.I stuck it in my butt and inspected my colon.I too had no problem with connection to Win10 PC ... I used the VIEWPLAYCAP application on the CD to give me full control of camera. If you do not use this application - then you get basic webcam only from Win10.
But install to Android is different matter. I have tried on 3 phones and two tablets - not one will work. The problem is trying to install the application to work the camera. The manual does not give you the proper name for the application to allow download, It gives you two graphics that I cannot get to work. Please see my question in DISCUSSION section. But the camera is very good.Very good value for the money. On my Win10 tablet it was plug and play, no need to install any driver or software, it replaces the build in camera when it is connected to the tablet. Picture quality is good, LEDs are bright enough.Sept 15-2016, UNBOXING AND INITIAL REVIEW: Received OK, all parts present. Connected to Dell XPS with Windows 7, then used the CD. PRO: Camera and dimmable LEDs work OK. Resolution is OK when in close-up. Videos download OK to hard drive. CON: The mini-CD has two apps but they only work when the CD is inside the PC. The apps do not download an icon to the desktop, as indicated in the tiny quarter-page leaflet of instructions. Also, virtually no useable instructions on the instruction leaflet, although the basics can be figured out with trial and error. Finally, no info at Hobby King "Videos" or "Files" tabs.
