This tiny Jet is amazing, EPO foam combined with its featherweight stats means it will be very forgiving of the odd less than 100% landing. The twin 35mm Fan Units & ESC's are pre-installed as are the elevator/aileron servos, the model comes in 2 pieces so all you have to do when it arrives is screw on the wing, hook up the RC equipment to a Reciever that uses Micro Molex 3 Pin conectors, such as the HobbyKing OrangeRX 4 Channel Micro reciever and you are ready to go...... where were we? Ah yes, on a high speed, low altitude straffing run in the local park, basketball court, in fact pretty well anywhere. The A-10 also comes with optional fixed landing gear, so field or pavement, this brilliant little A-10 can go anywhere.

The box the model arrives in is really handy for not only transporting the model to prevent hanger rash but the spare pockets in the packing foam are ideal for carrying spare Lipolys and you will have so much fun with this, I would carry a few! This jet is so cute, even your wife will like it!

Hey guys,

I'm new to RC aircraft and I have recently purchased this plane. I would like to know what TX/RX system is best suited for this aircraft?

Cheers.

The A-10 is a great looking plane, the twin motors don't give as much top speed as I expected but is ample power to gain altitude ~30 deg from a hand launch. Very quiet during flight on WOT, flight time on 2s 500ma 20c is about 3:30 I set my alarm and land still with some power left. The first couple of flights I did was in slight wind and the plane wobbled all over the place and didn't give much confidence, I taped up the body and wings to give it more rigidity and it improved it heaps. The elevators don't have much authority but I won't extend them as I don't think the body is rigid enough to handle it. The3rd flight the right aileron broke off mid air, I managed to land and then put some hinges on it. Back in the air the next landing was belly onto grass and it stripped the servo in one of the ailerons. I then flew another 5 times with one aileron working and then the other servo stripped on another landing. I'll get metal gears next and put a shroud around the servo arm to give it more protection. I like flying not repairing especially as I haven't even had a crash. I like the plane and will persist with some modifications.

Received the a-10 in mint condition. Built it last night, bound the RX and managed to get CG spot on as per manual with a 1Ah 2s.
Test flight this week end-looks great

Test flight great, very smooth stable little bird with surprising speed. Five flights on this set up at 172g auw, still unhappy with weight distrabution so lengthened esc to motor wires, esc's now under wing and 1000mah 2s 20c with auw of 197g. Still solid slow flight at 1/3 - 1/2 throttle but more fun chasing the native birds wot (wide open the). Happy landings with no damage after 8 flights.

Looks good, very tail heavy in original fit out. So I moved the esc's alittle forward, then repostioned the elevator servo to infront of the wing on its side. That 3 gram servo right up the back was the prob, now have no nose weight - removed stock, and 800mah 2s ballance spot on. Test flight no landing gear tomorrow.

HK! Why is this offered as a freebie and when it's out of stock?!! How is one supposed to get the freebie, wait 30 days or more?! I think you are simply careless about your customers. At least stop offering these freebies, it's really pointless and annoying.
