Bought 2 at once for a twin powered boat. On visual inspection of exterior I am troubled first to see a sticker that says 2300kv not the 2200kv posted here. One motor has slightly thicker wires coming out the back and that one has longer leads than the other as well by about an inch. The motor with longer leads has evidence that it was once installed in a rc toy. There is a scratch on the front plate that was attempted to be covered up by a black sharpie pen/marker to hide it. Both motors show evidence that there were once installed in an rc toy by the ring on the front plate from oil after being installed in an rc toy. I have seen motors for sale like this on Ebay BUT, they tell you it was previously installed on an rc car etc... I don't mind that they were installed and not used but, I like to be informed first. Please hobby King, be a little more up front with your products. That being said they were only $14 each on sale. Now to mod the wires by adding heat shrink as indicated by previous buyers. I'll let you know how they run when I bench test them. Anyone else buy one with the 2300kv sticker on them. Also, btw, the boxes had the shafts nearly sticking out from the shipment and those are TOUGH boxes!

I bought this motor as a replacement for the stock motor in my Aquacraft UL-1 hydro. A stock replacement motor is $80, so at $28 this is quite a bargain. This motor is a few mm longer than the stock motor, but it fits perfectly. Even the stock water jacket fits this motor and no modifications were necessary to install it. Performance wise, it is on a par with the stock UL-1 motor. I'm very happy to have my boat back in the water. Great product, excellent value.
