A very delicate airplane.

But if wind is no strong, that flies sufficiently.

A very choice for a modeler as an indoor plane but it feels very breakable !

When I finish the assembly the aluminium tube broke near the jonction point on the fuselage and a few days later it was the carbon of the horizontal elevator !

I repair it easily : I remove the broken part ,drill the holes to put the same section in carbon tube and finish it finally with a plastic sheet and some UHU stick !

It was a pleasure to repair !

It's a very cute plane, but mine doesn't fly, it looks it's a lack of power ...

In fact I changed the original lipo to a bigger one because the tiny connectors are impossible to find ...

What to do ?

I recived my cupid with several problems. Broken wheel, broken motor mount, Could not get the receiver to work with my futaba 7c. Could not charge the battery until I installed a JST connector.

The instructions are incomplete.

I don't use 35 MHz FM anymore but Spektrum stuff instead, and this plane would be fine with an AR6100 receiver.

Even discarding the included receiver it is an interesting offering.

Cupid indoor flyer

Nov 14, 2007

This is a very nice indoor flyer. It arrived double-boxed which made me happy as sometimes international shipping can damage items...especially fragile, light ones like the Cupid.

I had it put together in 15 minutes. It has throttle and rudder controls only. Maybe rudder isn't the proper description since the whole vertical stab moves...there is no real rudder. There is a unique feature that adds a little horizontal stabilizer reflex when you activate the rudder. This keeps the model from losing altitude in turns.

First flight went off without a hitch. I was a little worried because I had not previously flown a model using only throttle for ascending/descending but it worked fine. This model flies at a walking pace...really slow! I was in a sports dome but it could easily be flown in a basketball sized gymnasium.

All in all a very nice model for the price. Even if you don't like it yourself, the gear (motor/gb, prop, ESC, battery pack, servo and receiver) alone is worth the price.
