    Basher 1/16 4WD Mini Monster Truck V2 - Bad Bug (Kit)

    The Basher family has grown bigger but with something smaller. Introducing the 1/16th Mini Monster Truck V2 - Bad Bug! The original Basher Mini MT was fun but the V2 takes it a step further with better handling and increased durability.

    This time around, due to many customer requests, we have decided to do a kit version so you can put your own power options and steering servo in and create your own paint job for a monster truck like no other. We have made some suggestions of motors and other electronics for you but so long as you stick to a motor around 2838 size and you keep the esc footprint under 46mm x 32mm, all you need is a suitable 32P pinion and you're good to go.

    There are some exciting upgrades added to this Mini Monster Truck. The transmission has had a makeover with tougher transmission gears and a slipper clutch to the reduce the wear and tear on the driveline. After listening to feedback the dog bones are longer and stronger extending further into the newly designed drive cups that are now made of a harder steel alloy to avoid losing dogbones on maximum compression or extension. The arms and shock towers have been made of a new stiffer plastic compound and the tires are made of a slightly softer compound. All this adds up to more precise handling and less chance of damage, so the fun goes harder and longer.

    The Basher 1/16th Mini MT features a 2 x 2S LiPo capable brushless power system, and puts all that power down through a solid 4WD drivetrain. With 4 oil filled shocks and heavy duty components, this truck can hold its own with the big boys!

    As with the original Mini MT a cool feature of the V2 is the special wheelie bar with an aluminum shock absorber that can be tuned to push the truck back onto four wheels or to maintain a steady wheely. Perfect for avoiding the embarrassing walk of shame out into the middle of your local bashing spot or track to flip your truck back upright.

    The attention to detail on this truck is extraordinary. The engineers and designers at Basher underwent an extensive testing and development process to ensure you many hours of uninterrupted fun. But it's an off-road monster truck so, eventually, you're going to break something so there is an extensive range of spares and upgrade parts in stock and all the parts on the V2 are cross-compatible with the original Nitro Circus Mini Monster Truck.

    The Basher 1/16 4WD Mini Monster Truck V2 is the ultimate small scale basher with speed, durability, and all-around fun wrapped into one neat little package.

    Takes time to build but is worth it.

    Electronics (and spare parts), I've got from a 2nd hand model.

    at the first day of run, we broke the servo direction arm, HK recognize a warranty issue. The parts have been ordered and I ordered myself some more to not be in the same Situation again.
    well 2 month and a half is gone, no trace of any delivery, a pity for a set that you mount during 3 days, try one day and then it is over. the Service Department answer rapidly but if the goods never come, it is really annoying

    I bought the ARR version for my son and now he's a competent driver I don't get a look in... I bought this kit for me and it is excellent. The instructions are clear and all parts are bagged into stages, which makes assembly a breeze. The pinion is included with the kit but is for a 3mm shaft, so get a 1/8th drill bit if using the turnigy motors (3.175mm).

    Truck itself is not bad.
    V2 has some improvements vs V1 of the Basher Mini Monster Truck.
    However this is a complete KIT, all has to be assembled by yourself.
    Would have been nice if that could be mentioned in the Description.

    All you need for fun in the backyard is buy yourself Basher Bad Bug.
    Clear instruction. Easy to assemble, but be careful not to twist the screws. Soft plastic can deform.As an electronics I use 2838 3600 kv motor, 35a esc and 2s lipo battery.
    It turned out very fast and cheerful truck;)

    Got it on sale! This is the second kit of this chassis i bought . Very easy kit to build. Clean instructions. I also have the "hellseeker" version. Very happy with both trucks. The only difference between them (exept the body of course) is that the spur gear on "hellseeker" kit is black and on "bad bug: is white. I don't mind. I keep it on 2s lipo (i don't need more).
    I tuned the suspension whith some softer springs. Both little trucks are fantastic! Very pleased!
