The Blade 350QX made a big splash when it came to the market, but an Achilles heel became apparent quickly, the propellers.
The 350QX stock propellers are very soft and have had many known failures in flight, but due to the proprietary 15mm mounting and unusual motor bell, aftermarket propellers were not easily adapted. The HobbyKing direct mount propeller adapter set lets you convert your stock 350QX motors to “T-style” or direct mount propellers, opening the door with a choice of propellers for endurance or sport flying. With the availability of cheap, durable carbon fiber propellers to improve efficiency and performance. The flight envelope for your 350QX is no longer defined by proprietary options.
Propeller adaption: From 15mm center to center (stock), to standard 12mm center to center T style propellers
4 x Propeller adapters
4 x Top 4mm centering washers
hardware for propellers
* Note: Propellers not included, see related items for compatible options.
very useful, The mounting holes on them are a little small to fit in my motor shaftI currently have these set up on a 350 QX3 with carbon fiber 8x5.5 props and it is great. Nice little upgrade for better props. less vibrations, quieter and more stable flight.great adapter didnt use to the 350 but use 2 sets on some t shape propellers and they look great and balanced thanks hkThese plus the carbon fibre props are totally worth the 5 stars. I was surprised with how much quieter AND lighter they are compared to their plastic counter parts.good product , I used it on 350qx and 8055 cf prop. good resualtCEMONTE PARFAITEMENT AVEC LES HELICES CARBONNE HOBBYKINGPlug n Play mod, looks great, had zero problem with props (PRODUCT ID: 505000001-0 ) in fact the centre boss was a good firm fit.
IMO this adapter and carbon are great, if using nylon props the standard ones are good enough, these are simply cool looking.
I save the std props for ACRO mode, and spare bodies and .......... ;-0Great item. Highly recommended. Be prepared to do some mods. Not on this but the propellers. The mounting holes on them are a little small for the screws included so be prepared to get your rotary tool to make the holes a little bigger. Not much of a fuss.
