HobbyKing Crash Cash Winner: November 2021

Thank you to everyone who participated in November's edition of HobbyKing’s Crash Cash. The multitude of entries we received was tremendously amusing and at the same time, nostalgic. 1) Where are you from and how did you get into the hobby?

"I am from Ramsey, NJ, USA, and have been modeling since age 5. I have built all types of models from sticks and tissue, u-control speed and stunt, and up to 40% scale gassers."

2) What’s the story behind your RC model and the crash?

"The crash was that of a Phoenix Lysander due to a failed aileron servo which froze in the up position."

3) What's your favorite RC model and why?

"My favorite model is my 27.5% scale Gee-Bee-Y which can perform as a racer or basic aerobat and is a joy to fly and greases in for a landing."

4) What's the best part of being an RC pilot and why?

"For me, the best part of being an R/C pilot is being with family and friends who share my passion. I also find that building, repairing, and flying is a wonderful stress reliever"
